Firefly Mode

Firelfy Mode was a community dance photography project that toured Perth, Geraldton, Esperance and Kalgoorlie, Western Australia. Locals’ responses to questions about pauses and distractions inspired movement creation. Participants were guided through this movement at a photoshoot on location somewhere meaningful to the community. The long exposure images were then digitally stitched together to create a composite artwork that was gifted to the community.
