tiny dancer
Date
2015-2017
Tiny Dancer was a multimedia dance work with multiple forms, dissecting the effect of screen use on how we inhabit the world. Tiny Dancer first took over the Perth Cultural Centre with 3 live dance performers interacting with the public, a projection, and video on the large screen in the Centre. It was then invited to be presented at Mandurah Performing Arts Centre, White Night Festival in Melbourne and Crack Theatre Festival in Newcastle, all in different forms. Tiny Dancer was also turned into a poster for City of Perth’s Light Lockers commission, with two QR codes sending the public to two interconnected videos to be held side-by-side on smartphones.
