Giclee Gloss Print - edition of 10
This series of photographs includes the following corresponding poem, hand-typed on textured paper:
Damariscotta
when we arrived,
the tide was low
all the parts and pieces below
familiar crunch of rocks under feet
squishing, salty popping seaweed
spotting good rocks to plop,
crabs to follow
a softly rippling blanket
allows her now to sleep
the moon pulling gently to rest in the deep
a chill in the breeze, feeling alive
soft sounds of returning geese in the sky
when the tide comes again,
what will the shore keep
